Being backstage at Wing Ding, so can hear & see some crazy things. Here are some of my favorite...
Brad Arnold, 3 Doors Down singer, "At home in our river, we have catfish as big as telephone poles."
Larry, Head On singer, "It's hard to look cool when you're loading your own gear."
Shaun Morgan, Seether singer, "I'm scared shitless, this is the biggest crowd we played as a headliner."
Corey Stevens, "Do you know where our beer is?" (they left their cooler unattended, so we drank it)
Watching the Indy 500 on Nickelback's bus, Chad Krueger came out from the back to grab a bong from the kitchen area.
Tony, the guitar player from Blackmaker, sitting by himself in the bleachers at the speedway had an arguement with himself.
Operator had to borrow a snare drum from Blackstone Cherry. At the end of their set they started to break their equipment. The BSC tour manager kept saying to himself over & over, "Please not the snare drum." At the end the only thing left standing was the snare drum.
Finger Eleven drinking beer out of the Colonial Cup.
After Rick Nielson introduces Breaking Benjamin he threw a guitar pick & watching the guys from BB fight for it.
The guitar player player from Tantric bragging about how he found a great deal on Cabbage Patch Dolls at Machesney Park Mall.
Just a few of my funny memories, hope you enjoy them!
