Captain Jack Wing Ding Blog 3.0 My Wing Ding 2008 Goals
Every year, "we" come into Wing Ding with goals...(we meaning everyone on The X staff minus Driver). But this year I have a few personal goals I would like to achieve:
1. I would like to wander through the crowd and meet you the X listener/Wing Ding fan, and get my picture taken with 100 different people. Get your camera's ready, I'm on a mission.
2. Not curse on stage.
3. Make Driver feel "part of the family".
Lets face it, Driver is not like the rest of us. When I put together the Wing Ding MySpace, I put a poll question on there asking "who would like to see Driver naked on stage"? When the Wing Ding page launched on wxrx.com, over 100 people had voted for Driver nudity. See, I've already started including him! I think a shirtless Driver on stage to introduce a band is a GREAT idea...hell, it might even give my little buddy a shot of confidence he so desperately needs.
Could Driver hang with the beautiful people? Maybe. Could Driver live the backstage "high life"? It's possible. Can I HELP DRIVER become a manly man that beats his chest and proclaims, "Wing Ding I am Driver"...while shirtless?? THAT friends, is a Wing Ding goal.
